Ruben Pater (NL) is a designer at a moment in time when more design is about the last thing the world needs. In search of ethical alternatives he designs, writes, and teaches. Under the name Untold Stories his work combines journalism, activism, and graphic design. He is the author of two books: The Politics of Design (BIS, 2016) and CAPS LOCK (Valiz, 2021). He teaches at design schools in Barcelona.

Laura Pappa (EST/NL) is a freelance graphic designer based in Amsterdam. She works both on commissioned and self-initiated projects. Her clients include Valiz, Van Abbemuseum, Rozenstraat — a rose is a rose is a rose, Kunstverein Toronto, and the Museum of Estonian Architecture. She is the editor of the pamphlet series Exercises in Practical Mischievery and organiser of Fruit basket, a monthly gathering for informal presentations in Amsterdam.

Adrien Vasquez (FR/GB) is a graphic and type designer. He worked with John Morgan since 2011. In 2017, they founded Abyme, a digital type foundry and independent publisher of artist’s editions and multiples. Following John Morgan’s death in 2025, he co-founded Lima Vasquez studio with Teresa Lima. He teaches at ÉSAD Valence.

Anne Büttner (DE) is a Berlin based graphic designer. Her interests and working focus circle around typography as a voice and tonal register for identities, websites, catalogues and other formats. Photography, form and colour are equally part of her process and way of thinking. Projects take shape through research, dialogue and experimentation, with close attention to context, structure and material decisions.

Vier5 (FR) is a Paris-based graphic design studio founded in 2002 by German designers Marco Fiedler and Achim Reichert. The studio’s work is characterized by a "classical notion of design" reimagined through a contemporary, often provocative lens. Their primary focus includes: Visual Language: They specialize in developing unique, forward-looking visual languages that avoid "visual empty phrases"—clichéd or generic design tropes—in favor of individualistic, creative statements. Typography: A core pillar of their practice is the design of new, up-to-date typefaces specifically tailored to the medium and client. Influences: Their aesthetic is heavily influenced by the visual culture of the 1990s and the democratic role of media like MTV, which they credit for bringing global design into the domestic sphere.

UTOPIA LIBRI (CZ) is an independent cooperative publishing house founded in 2021. Its books form a thematic mosaic encompassing politics, visual art, philosophy, queer feminism, sociology, fiction, ecology, and, more broadly, transdisciplinary and anarchist perspectives. It focuses on crossing the boundaries of topics, genres, and languages, as well as on the intersections of ideas emerging from horizontal and anti-authoritarian social movements. It collaborates with other artists and creators in the fields of visual art and book design.
The publishing house was established after many years of experience collaborating, among others, on books published by Intu (2003–2007) and Neklid (since 2018).

Sandra Kassenaar (NL) is a graphic designer and art director, living and working in Amsterdam. Her practice has an editorial focus — often expressed in printed matter and exhibition design — working closely with artists, curators, writers, architects and fellow graphic designers. Besides running her studio, since 2015 Sandra collaborates with editors Kirsten Algera and Ernst van der Hoeven on making the biannual design and craft magazine MacGuffin. Sandra holds a teaching position at the graphic design department of ArtEZ in Arnhem.
